It was announced today in the Press Enterprise that Riverside, Ca will be removing all red light cameras in 60 days. See link below:

In the article you've referenced, I note that Riverside has used these cameras for around 8 years. I think that's similar to my city (Winnipeg, Canada). I just wish we'd take a page from this, and end the camera program as well!

Clive Iowa cameras
Clive removed its cameras after study did not show safety improvements. In fact it showed rear end accidents in intersections went up I think.
