I don't believe you can change the voice, only the language. You need Text to Speech which is only available with a Hack (search on "TTS c530" for more information) .

You will have a huge choice if you speak all 20 different languages. However, if you only speak English, you will have to settle for either the American English you are using now or the British English.

Isn't there an american male voice? I can't remember and I deleted all my voices but the american female and the tts modification (jill).

The c530 (without the TTS hack) under languages only shows American and British English. It is not specified as male or female.
