Garmin Time Zone Information

Some Camper, nuvi, LIVE, zumo, RV, and dezl series automatically change the time zone as you drive. Additionally, they display your Estimated TIme of Arrival using your destination's local time. Consider this when comparing arrival time against driving time.

Models include the Camper 760, the dezl series, the LIVE 1695 and 2300 series; nuvi 30, 40, and 50 series; nuvi 205 series; nuvi 295W; nuvi 465; nuvi 705 series; nuvi 1100; nuvi 1200, 1300 and 1400 series; nuvi 1690; nuvi 2200, 2300, 2400, 2405, 2407, 2408, 2505, 2507, 2508, 2707, 2708, 3400, 3500, 3507, 3508, and 3700 series; RV 760; zumo 220; zumo 350; zumo 390; zumo 600 and 605 series.

For this feature to work, you must enable the Automatic time mode.. Follow the steps below for your specific device:

On the nuvi 30, 40, 50, 205, 400, 705, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1690, LIVE 1695, 2300, and zumo220, 660, and 665 series, to have the device adjust the clock automatically;
1. Touch the time display at the top of the main menu
2. Touch the tab below the Current Time option
3. If the box next to Automatic is not checked, then check it
4. Touch OK to save

On the nuvi 2200, 2300, 2400, 2405, 2407, 2408, 2505, 2507, 2508, 2707, 2708, 3400, 3500, 3507, 3508, 3700 series, zumo 350, zumo 390, Camper 760, RV 760, and the dezl series, to have the device adjust the clock automatically;

1. Touch the time display at the top of the main menu
2. If the box next to Automatic is not checked, then check it.
3. Touch the Back button

On the nuvi 295W, to have the device adjust the clock automatically;
1. Touch Settings in the scrolling bar on the main menu
2. Touch System
3. Touch Date/Time
4. Touch the button below Time Zone Selection
5. Touch Automatic

If after changing these settings the device still doesn't change time zones automatically, make sure to download the latest Time Zone map.

The nuvi 200, 300, 700, 800, 805, and 5000 series and the zumo 400 and 500 series do not automatically adjust your time zone while navigating. Thus, they will continue to display the time in the time zone currently selected in time settings.

To change the time zone on the Nuvi 200, 700, 800, 805 and 5000 series:
1. Touch Tools (wrench icon).
2. Touch Settings
3. Touch Time
4. Select correct time zone.

To change the time zone on the Nuvi 300, 600 series and the zumo 400 and 500 series
1. Touch Tools (wrench icon).
2. Touch Locale
3. Adjust time settings.
