Got back Saturday from a trip to New Orleans, and though I'm a Luddite dinosaur, I'm starting to see the benefit of a smart phone with GPS.
On our way to Pascal's Manale for BBQ shrimp, there was a car overturned on the streetcar tracks. The driver said Napolean Avenue was "a few blocks up there", but we had no idea the distance. A smart phone/GPS would have told us how far we had to go.
Always a great city to visit! The World War II museum left anyone with a soul teary-eyed. NO shortage of excellent food and drink.
Laissez les bon temps rouler!!
