the battery in my GPS don't keep the charge for long,,,,20 minutes max and less, when connect to the charger cable in the car is fine..Is any solution.

Replace the battery

Replacing the battery is the only real solution.

I have a several years old Nuvi 1450 and have the same problem. My solution? I don't fight it. I always use the cigarette lighter adapter.
