nuvi 1350 update causes raspy female voice

After a tedious time in updating Nuvi 1350LMT I now notice that the female voice is raspy. Any suggestions

Often

Often after updating your Nuvi a hard reset will solve some of these types of issues. See a thread like http://www.poi-factory.com/node/26136 for hard reset procedures and pay particular attention to how to save your favorites so they survive the reset.

Dezl760 Also Sounds Raspy

Right out of the box my Dezl760 had the same issue. I changed from American English "Jill" to "Jack" with no change. The hard reset procedure didn't help either.
It may be just a tinny sounding speaker, I'm not sure. My next step is to try an external speaker.
Anyone else have a similar problem?

Give This A Try

I'm don't know if this will help but American Jack and Jill have had recent updates, try updating the voices with WebUpdater.
