Alert Font Size on Nuvi 52

I have been using the rest areas combined POI file for several years on my Garmin C30 and really liked the alert
display(nice large white font on red background) on the device. I have upgraded to a Nuvi 52 and
the display of the alert on its screen is so small that it
is a safety hazard to try to read the details on the device. Have others had this same experience and is their
a solution to this issue?
