NWS radio recommendations?

My NWS alert radio is messing up. power juntion to charger, everytime I remove it it resets, put back in it resets. So I've been on Amazon looking for a replacement. THe highest user rated one now has the most negative comments, assuming they ramped up production too fast or moved OEM supplier to a crap one.

Anyone have any they bought recently that work? After this morning's sever thunderstorm warning beeping every 15 min as the storm system moved from PA to CT I reset the SAME codes again and am motivated to just buy a replacement that doesn't suck

My Midland WR300 works well. There may be newer Midland models worth looking into as well.
