Do any of the new Garmin Nuvis display next street up? Not those visible at some zoom level but on one of the display bars top or bottom when not on a route.

Do any of the new Garmin Nuvis display next street up? Not those visible at some zoom level but on one of the display bars top or bottom when not on a route.
Most of the time
on my Nuvi 50LM I get the next cross street displayed in the top banner while traveling with no route. But occasionally for an unknown reason "Traveling on Such&Such Street" is displayed for a time. Then a short while later the next cross street returns in the top banner.
Now on a route, I think I always get the next turn street displayed.

Now on a route, I think I always get the next turn street displayed.

Same behavior on my 2595(US) and 2465(TW).
I noticed the displaying of "Traveling on Such&Such Street" occurring only while I am driving on a freeway and no exit in sight for quite many miles.

Thanks for your input. I am interested in what the 2597 does if anyone can tell me.
Software Version ???
It might be a good idea to list your current firmware version with your unit because this feature has appeared and disappeared with firmware upgrades.
Just a thought.

My 2597 LMT with the latest update shows next cross street.
My 3597LMTHD
My 3597LMTHD shows the next street on the top of the map screen and the street your driving on in the bottom center of the map screen. This is true whether you have a destination inputted or not.
Nuvi 350, 760, 1695LM, 3790LMT, 2460LMT, 3597LMTHD, DriveLuxe 50LMTHD, DriveSmart 61, Garmin Drive 52, Garmin Backup Camera 40 and TomTom XXL540s.

Mine has come and gone on the 1490 and it is also apparently not as common in smaller locations.
I had it last month in Minneapolis, but not in Winnipeg.
