MAC version is 2.1.8 (62). Don't know if that is an upgrade or not. I forgot to check the old version.

I was using an older version of GE for Mac. The update button would always show a failure in searching for a newer version. I manually downloaded the newest version from Garmin. The update button seems to work correctly now.
