Reverse camera

Hi there, i was informed today that it is a possibilty to connect a reverse camera to some garmin gps with this: https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/shop-by-accessories/other/bc...

My nuvi 3597 was not on the list with the models that works with the BC20, but now i am curious if there is any other way to connect a camera to a nuvi like mine?

Answer is NO

As far as I know you will not be able to add a reverse camera connected to your 3597.

The few Garmin units that do have that capability require a video in jack on the unit, the 3597 does not have one.

This from the Garmin website:
To install, take the BC 20 to your dealer (recommended) or mount the camera yourself on the rear of your vehicle and connect it to a power source, such as the rear lights. The BC 20 is rugged enough to withstand even the harshest of weather.

I can just see some idiot connecting this to the rear lights, would only work at night then.

The statement should be to the BACK-UP lights!

I got the answer today from Garmin sweden, at the moment there is no plans to get it to work with other models.
