NA 2014.20 Split Screen JCV Filename

Sorry AFAIK there is no download location for the split screen file. The file name for the split screen file installed on my devices is D3191100A.JCV if you can find one somewhere.

say that the 1350 can not view any Junction View. I see some reports that says the 1350 contains a JCV folder in the nuvi, but the conclusion remained that the device does not show JVs and therefore there will be no jcv file to be installed or used, even with a manual download.

I know I simulated a route on her unit and saw the split screen in the past. It's the only time I've seen split screen actually on a GPS in my hand, mine are all full screen.

The reason I started looking into this is the owner asked me why she doesn't see the pictures anymore since I updated it.

A Google search for nuvi 1350 jcv brings up several sites, some of which state that with tinkering, jcv might be enable-able on the 1350, but that was for older map versions. Maybe the tinkering no longer works. I did NOT carefully read or try to understand what folks were doing and will leave that to you.

I looked down the list of GPSs I've updated for my daughter's girl friends and I just saw another nuvi 40 that does have the split screen. So the only conclusion I can make is I made a mistake here.

The girl must also have seen someone else's GPS. Probably my daughter's or wife's who she has rode with more than a few times.

Thanks. But if don't have the time to keep straight what GPSs I update, I certainly don't need to be tinkering and tweaking the firmware. I do remember a while back reading a few threads where a few people were discussing this tinkering but that's not really anything I'd do to someone else's unit.

Good reasoning on your part, that's a possible way to lose friends when trying to help someone.
