I have a Garmin 885, is there away to reset the trip log, I'm talking about the blue line on the map that shows my track?

Manual says
On page 47 of your manual, it says
Trip Log - Show or hide the log of your travels.
To clear your trip log, touch Tools > My Data > Clear Trip Log

Clearing out the log does seem to make things run smoother too.
