In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share with us the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you use it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

A church for a friend's funeral

Unfortunately, my most recent trip was to a church in a town several hours away. Used the GPS to find the church for a funeral. GPS worked like a charm ... but I gotta tell you ... the reason for using it was a real bummer.

Motorcycling the Poconos

Just had to get away so we headed to the other side of PA. No highways, 1 day riding there, 1 day riding the mountain roads and 1 day riding home.

Haven't been able to get away for quite some time so this was great, even though the lower back was a little stiff.

The zumo 665 routes were great and XM Weather helped us steer around all the rain in the area while other riders got drenched. It has saved me from the rain plenty of times.

Road Trip and my GPS Zumo 660 and other good stuff.

From Alabama to Rocky Mountain high in Buena Vista CO for a few days and then on to Salem Oregon via Motorcycle to attend the BMW International Rally. While at the rally, attended a really great seminar on BaseCamp and got some great points and ideas. During this loop we explored the "Tour of Honor" sites and National Parks and of course some great mom and pop places to eat... headed down the Oregon Coast across mid California to Yosemite and then Nevada and Area 51, Utah and back to Buena Vista for a couple more days and then back to Alabama ...three weeks... BaseCamp worked perfect... EXTRA on my Zumo contained all the special places and POI from this great forum, such as out of the way places, Travel Plazas and much more... did I mention we found some great places to eat? Great roads and wonderful folks along the way...... Many small towns and cities have wonderful memorials to our fallen heroes... Great weather for July... oh...rented a ATV and did a trail to near top of MT. Elbert CO... a real adventure as well.

Care to share the names and locations of those places to eat? There is a POI here for those Mom & Pop's recommended by people like yourself.

Doylestown, PA to Winterthur, DE

On one leg of our "two-day vacation" my GPS sent us on to a strange country road. Getting off the Interstate and US highways, the final leg was down a country road, narrow and hilly, and through a covered bridge. The name of the road was Smith's Bridge Road. Very enjoyable and unexpected segment of otherwise routine trip. Thanks, Garmin!

continue to enjoy our vacation in Alaska. Anchorage has had record setting temperatures during our summer visit. Absolutely beautiful!

Round Trip

Another successful round trip to Lowe's!!

Seattle, Portland, Denver

Just returned from a two weeker to Seattle, WA for a 40th reunion of guys I went to graduate school with. Gosh, we look older!

Weather along the Pacific Coast in SW Washington State & Portland, OR was great compared to Maryland.

Denver also decided to cool off while I was there. A big thanks for that.

Went to Dallas/Ft. Worth

last week, and took my OLD, OLD C330, and my OLD 765T. I shortly broke the power Cord on the 765T, but fortunately, the rental minivan had a 110 plug. So, switched and good to go. There is so much construction around Fort Worth, you need to have some patience when she routes you onto a Freeway entrance that is not there. This with the latest maps. Overall, they both got me to where I wanted to go. The best part is the abundance of POI files created by the wonderful people here at the Factory.
