Love these short work weeks!

Mowing

Mowed the lawn yesterday & trimmed a bunch of bushes. I was pooped. I thought I drank enough water & Gatorade, but last night I got a severe muscle cramp in my upper, inside thigh. The pain was so bad I broke out in a cold sweat & thought I was going to pass out. Ice, ice, ice was the only thing that stopped it.

Nasty bad!

Getting too old for this. Time to hire it done or move into a condo.

Weekend

Have a good one. 90 degrees plus in NYC.

1450 scares me.

On my way to Sam's in Davenport, RLC alert did not sound at Kimberly & Elmore. Last night I did a simulation with my 1490. It was OK. I reloaded the RLC file on the 1450. Still did not work, using simulation.
I performed a hard reset. Now it works.
Whew!

GPS for air drops

The military has been using GPS receivers and steerable parachutes that allow 100 meter accuracy to the troops when packages are dropped from 35000 feet.
Tests have shown promise for drop packages as large as a Humvee.
