Here's the url from Best Buy for a Garmin Carrying Case for $2.00 + free shipping for those who don't have a case to protect a unit and might be interested in one. I just ordered one for a previously owned Nuvi 360 that I purchased without a case.

In reading the reviews they say it will fit the smaller 3.5" units but some are having trouble fitting the 4.3" units in it. It looks like it would not fit any of the 4.5" or larger units.

Can't Beat That Price

Although its faux leather for 2.00 you can't go wrong. My only concern would be the the latch that locks the flap. I look like an elastic band that slips over the metal button. How long before that band breaks would concern me.

My Nuvi 660 has the original Garmin leather case that is well made, however, it doe not completely cover the entire Nuvi. The top is exposed a little bit, if dropped on a hard surface could cause some damage.

Looks like the one that comes with the friction mount from garmin for $15 or so, from Amazon. Funny thing is the friction mount by itself goes for more money.

I just got mine today. It is really nice. My Nuvi 40 fits without a problem. I can't believe the price.
