garmin 35880

3580 is actually a 3590. Its a canadian costco thing.
What you do not get is the Digital 3D traffic receiver GTM 60 HD. you get the GTM 35. Not too sure what difference it makes. I have the gtm 35 on my 3790 and the gtm 60 on my 3590. All I know it's way quicker as far as receiving traffic info. No idea about the 3d and HD part yet. I think one needs to find an area that supports that.

HI i recently updated my 3580lmt software version to 7.80 using the garmin express on my mac pc ,it went ok but now my nuvi s battery life does not last as long as it did before the update,even with the indoor use turned on has anyone had this problem after the update,

I have 2595. It's a good unit, but it's problem - tooo slow. When it's recalculating, it takes forever

Just received mine and am waiting for the ecoroute HD to go with it. I love the ease and accuracy of the voice command system and the brightness of the screen. Calculations don't seem that long to me unless planning an extremely long drive (1000's of miles). I found the POI's limited, but that is why we are here, isn't it.

I recently got mine at Costco. It's much faster compared to my old TomTom. Start-up does take a bit long for some reason...it always loads map and then comes to the Agreement screen.

That's how all the Nuvi's work. If you wait a few seconds the agreement screen will disappear.

I brought 3580LMT last week from Costco. The 3D map id diferent from 3790T.
