Map Symbols

This is a pet peeve of mine. My 3790 has quite a few decent map symbols. My 3590 ones are crappy. So...what can I do about that? As far as Garmin is concerned....nothing.
Mapsource is a garmin product. If one loads favorites into it, one can highlight each entry and change the map symbol,
The program has quite a few. No issues there...transfer it back to the unit and look at your new Map symbols...right? WRONG. There aren't any, it never changed. Damnit I wish they would fix this...can't be that difficult. mad

The main reason I chose the 3790 over the 3490 ........

One of the main reasons I chose the 3790 over the 3490 when I bought the last Garmin was the much greater map detail, symbols, etc. that the 3790 had that were scaled back with the rollout of the newer 3490.

Not yet, but seems it goes up to 23xx and 24xx,
so there might be a chance he'll add it later hopefully

Unless something has changed very recently, no one has been able to contact TurboCCC for well over a year, and there is concern that something has happened to him.

If that is the case, it appears unlikely that any additions will be made.

With best wishes,

A while ago I had asked if anyone had heard from TurboCCC recently and no one had heard from him.

Hoping he is OK.
