UConnect system users?

Chrysler offers a multimedia system in passenger cars and SUV's such as Jeep Grand Cherokee. Within some of the UConnect systems is a Garmin GPS unit.
Are there any UConnect users "out there" with suggestions, questions, concerns? I've read several posts here at the Factory, and would like to get more info for myself as well as create a place to exchange information about this GPS unit.

Deficient POIs
We have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 with Uconnect 8.4AN/RA4, which does not seem to have POIs for grocery stores. Got plenty of Pubs and restaurants. How stupid.
Not sure why I would want to pay $$$$ for map updates when I have lifetime updates for my Nuvi and RVND. Oh well, dashboard GPS will be a good selling point when we trade it.
Oh yes, can Life timeupdates be purchased for Uconnect?
