After having a Garmin C330 a couple years then in 2009 go and get a nuvi 255W - I thought was a great upgrade from the old C330 and thought "wow something that speaks street names". After 4 years of using the 255W I finally upgraded to the nuvi 2455LMT and I know it isn't the latest and greatest model but after research it would serve my needs well.
I was surprised with the new features on this unit and I haven't had the unit 5 days and already logged over 500 mi on the little jewel and getting ready to take it on a 1500 mile round trip journey later this week to Michigan. Loading POI files was a little tricky but got it to work with in the secret corner on the volume screen. I love the traffic feature - it lets you know if there is something going on.(providing you are in a coverage area)
Now for the question - does this thing have an internal traffic antenna? The reason I ask is because the power cord is the standard cord.
It does not have the big flat cord with the long box looking thing on it like some Garmin units have.
nuvi 2455 lmt
i have the same nuvi 2455 lmt and it has a flat power cable with a usb plugin on the unit end and the cigarette lighter plug on the other end. i beleave the traffic antenna is the small bump in the power cord between both ends.

I love my unit.. About my cord, If you have what came with the unit, you should be able to tell what cable you have, Looking at the end of the cig plug, you should see a tag. Mine says Garmin GTM 26 and mine has a long box near the other end. I just noticed a hole in mine but not sure what that is.. Maybe some one can shead some light on it.
EDIT: I found thatthe hole is used for a external ent.

From what I have read my 2455LMT has an internal traffic receiver and the cord "makes it work"
