POI Loader and GPSMAP 60CS

I have a GPSMAP 60CS and I cannot get Garmain's POI loader to see it. I get a message saying that it found a GPS unit but it is not compatible. Is the problem me or is the 60CS no compatible with this software? I can see in the disscussions here that someone has use it with the 60CSx. Is there that much difference between a 60CS and a 60CSx?

I don't think that the 60CS is compatible with POI Loader. I'm not exactly sure what the difference are in the firmware, but there must be some difference; and since this is a discontinued model, Garmin hasn't (and probably won't) update the firmware to include this capability.

That's what I thought. I've been trying to think of a good reason to upgrade to a 60CSx and maybe this is it. I've had my 60CS for a little over three years and I love it. I purchased it for geocaching and ended up using it extensively for travel. I never leave home without it. I like the idea of being able to store more maps so I guess I'll spend the bucks and get a 60CSx.
