Map Updates for Garmin 465T Blocked

Got off the phone with Garmin with update issue for 465T
and was told they have issue with 2013.20 on this model.
Can't download until fixed probably next update. I reinstalled older maps and now it won't unlock the maps

Missing File?
You will need the gmapprom.unl file to unlock your older map you installed. Hopefully you backed it up.
If not, I would call Garmin and explain your situation and they should provide a solution since it's not your fault the 2013.20 map is having issues with your 465T.

unlocking codes
You can get unlocking codes for all maps you had ever installed and activated on your device from your Garmin account. Just log on to your account and go to "MyMaps" tab than click on "Details" link below maps listed next to your device. It will bring list of all installed maps with all codes needed to activate them. Just scroll list to find maps you have right now. Unlock codes you have in second half of page.

I never had to revert to an old map and always have all my files backed up so I never had the need to look under "Details".

If your gmapprom.unl file is missing just follow grzesja's instructions to obtain the unlock code for the map you will be installing.
Once you find the correct unlock code, copy and paste it into notepad. Then save as gmapprom.unl, be careful not to name it gmapprom.unl.txt.
Once saved copy it into your garmin folder that contains the gmapprom.img.
