Removing POI`s from MS S&T

Using POI Factory I recently learned that I can import POI`s into Streets & Trips.

I now find that they cover the whole map and unless I zoom in very close I can not really see the map.

Does anyone know how to delete the POI`s from MS S&T?

Thanks

MS Streets and Trips

You are importing them into S&T using the Import Data Wizard or Import GPX File - correct? They don't make a permanent change to the default S&T map. You have to load a saved map file to see them. If you've saved the map with the imported locations, all you have to do is delete the saved map file.

You can also hide the various "push pins" so they don't display.

Both

Both previous posts are correct and in particular the POI's will not stick unless you've saved the map with them visible.

There is built into the S&T program a method to delete the pushpins (POIs) easily. Simply hold down the right mouse button and drag the mouse across the map. This will form a box over the map. Release the mouse button and move the cursor inside the box visible on the map and right click. In the menu that appears, select "Delete Visible Pushpins Inside Area".

Note that when creating the "box" it can be as small or as large as you like as you control the area that you drag the mouse over. Also, there is another option for deleting the pushpins when you see the right mouse menu, and that is "delete visible pushpins OUTSIDE area". So you have pretty good control of what POIs show and don't show on an S&T map.

interesting

I didn't know you could do that. Thanks.

I wonder if there's a way to go the other way?
