Hi..I just DL the Best Western POI file to my PC..all good.
Then I wanted to upload to my 465T, it did but now I have an entry for each BW not a folder(so to speak).
What did I do wrong ?
Thanks..
Use POI Loader
It sounds to me like you copied the POI file directly to your nuvi instead of using POI Loader to load it. That will make the entries in the file Favorites instead of POI's.

Hi Alanb.. thanks.. How can I do a complete delete of the BW's from the GPS ??
I'm still have it hooked to my PC..

Delete Favorites
I am not sure on a 465 nuvi, but on my 755T, you go to Tools > My Data > Delete Favorites > Select All > Delete. Hopefully there is something similar on your 465. Before you do that though, plug your nuvi in to the computer and delete the .CSV or .GPX file you copied to it. Then reboot and go through the menus to delete the favorites. If you leave the file there, they will just reimport the next time you start it.
One other point ... while you have your nuvi plugged in, make a copy of current.gpx ... just in case you need to restore your favorites.

Additional info
It does sound like you only copied the csv or gpx file to the nuvi as alandb is stating.
To clarify the steps.
1. With the nuvi connected to the computer delete the csv or gpx file.
2. If you have a lot of your own favorites then the only way to get the BW info off is to boot the nuvi and start deleting the Best western locations that show up in favorites. If you do not have a lot of favorites then delete the current.gpx. It will recreate itself on a boot of the nuvi (you will have no favorites).
3. Place the csv or gpx file in a folder. Call it something like "Best Western".
4. Use poi loader and point the program to the "Best Western" folder. Then follow the prompts.
The poi's will be found in where to/extra/poi.
I hope I got that all correct!

POI file Loaded from PC to Garmin
Hi..Sorry..
I left a critical piece of info.. The Best Western POIs are showing up in CUSTOM POIs as individuals not a folder.. The favorites do not reflect the Best WESTERN MESS.

.
You are not going to see a Best Western "folder" on the GPS if you only loaded one Custom POI file.
If you are loading more that one file, then you need to create FOLDERS on your computer. Put one file in each folder. The folders will create the CATEGORIES on the GPS unit.
Main POI folder
> Best Western (folder)
... Best Western (custom POI file)
> Other POI (folder)
... Other POI (file)
POI file Loaded from PC to Garmin-Resolved
HI. after receiving your input, decided to go back and run thru the process again of uploading Best Western POI file.
Lesson Learned:
When I uploaded the BW POI I did not rename the target folder, I had left it Custom POI... So when I went to extras => Custom POIs... ALL I had was the new CUSTOM POIs aka Best Western..
Reloaded all my Custom POI's and all is well again..
Thank you all..
