My my my TomTom stut stut stutters

I thought I saw a post on stuttering TOMTOMs previously, but when I searched I couldn't find anything.

Is there a way to fix my Start 55TM so it doesn't stutter?

Does this happen with every instruction, or only when you have two instructions close together? I have seen with my 1535 on occasion, but it seems to be connected to having multiple instructions very close together - and it is relatively rare even then. TomTom tells me that they are "investigating".

I had a Garmin that did that

After a couple of updates it got fixed, I would think TomTom will fix it soon, they can't afford not to.

Not all the time

It certainly doesn't happen all the time. I know that it has stuttered when telling me that there is a toll road along the route and asks if I want to avoid them.

I trying to think if it stutters while I'm driving or only when I'm setting up the navigation route. I'll make note of this when it stutters again.

Interesting

I thought TT had fixed that problem a long time ago. Early on with my GO930 it had some stuttering problems, but they were eventually fixed.
