New 895 Edition Maps

Based upon the timing of TomTom releases in the past, it's probable that the 8.95 map will be released next week, or early the following week. I don't know if they have an official schedule for the releases, but that timing matches up with what has happened in the past.

I intentionally stated before the end of August to allow for a little leeway. Unless I have a bad calendar, I believe that "next week, or early the following week" will be before the end of August.

I've been making corrections to my current map. Mostly speen limit updates. Is there a way to capture that information and apply it to the new map when I download it?

Copy the mapsettings.cfg file from the old map folder to the new map folder.

Thanks for the info on the update. The map update and a community update froze my Via 1535TM. Had to factory reset...

That's still happening? The 895 map release was postponed for a couple of weeks because that issue showed up with the first people to install it. I thought that the issue had been corrected before the widespread release, and I had not noticed anyone else reporting the problem.
