Not running as late as I thought

Just went out to the shop to let my husband know to come in early as we had something to do tonight as I will be shopping with my daughter tomorrow.

I am going Wednesday and thought today was Tuesday. Wow, I have one more free day!!! And I am not as late posting as I thought.

Been sewing and embroidering all day today.

Globe Turtle - how about a Like Button

Just a suggestion for GlobeTurtle

It would be nice for all post to have a like button like Facebook does.

I read several post I like but don't reply to them.
Would be nice to be able to click a button to say "Like" when someone says something neat.

Camping and Geocaching

Going camping and geocaching all next week. Not sure where we will camp - it will depend on where we are when we get to the "camping phase" of the day. Naturally I'll be routing with my nüvi 760 and we may well be using the camping POI file to find somewhere to camp. We've done so in the past and it's worked out pretty well.

Hi Mary~

I think the “like” button is a great idea. It’s something I would enjoy as well.
Unfortunately, as you and most of the long time members know, POI Factory suffered some disruption in the last couple of years as the site founders began the process of parting ways. Jonathan has done his best, with the help of the community, to keep things going but it hasn’t been easy.

As it stands now there is still a lot of catch up work to be done. Most of our time and resources are needed for day-to-day operations. We are gradually making progress towards freeing up time to work on improvements, but it will be a while before we get there.

I’m not trying to paint a bleak picture or dissuade anyone from making suggestions, I just want to be honest on where we are at. Jonathan and I both believe we can get the site to where it needs to be, it’s just going to take some time. So please continue to be patient with us. I read every comment on this site and am aware of what the community would like to see as far as site improvements. Those suggestions are not being ignored, I assure you we will get to them as soon as resources allow.
