Nuvi 350 can't find downloaded gpx file

Forgive me if this has been addressed before but I am about to leave for a road trip and my wife is telling me we are late so I don't have time to search.

I have not used the 350 for about 8-9 months. I pluged it in to the wall charger and instead of going into charging mode it showed as connected to the computer, however it did take a charge.

While partially charged I moved it to the computer and sent a route from Mapquest to the unit. When I tried to find the route from the touch screens I could not pick it up.

I then accessed the Garmin folder to see if it was downloaded and it was there. I renamed it still with a gpx extension but I could still not access the route.

I plugged the unit back into the wall charger for an over night charge and this morning it still shows as being plugged into the computer but has a full charge.

I won't be able to check back here until tonight. Any help will be appreciated.

Import route.

If the 350 nuvi is like my 755T, you need to go to Tools > MyData > Import Route from file. Select the route you downloaded, and it should appear in the Custom Routes.

.

The nuvi 350 does not have the ability to store routes.

Thanks MM.
