Reporting Errors

I assume this has been asked, but couldn't find it easily by searching, who do we contact concerning a unit (Nuvi 50LM) making a mistake?

As I am still "playing around", I had selected a golf course. The unit had it where it belonged, the map was accurate and it was giving me correct "text" directions, I-71 to Route 82.
About 2 miles before Route 82, there's an interchange to get on the Ohio Turnpike-Interstate 80. Even though it was showing Route 82, the distance was dropping quickly and it did a re-route as I passed I-80.
I also noticed it showed the turnpike, on the map but didn't have it identified.

I assume that was a problem smile

TIA,

Map Errors

Check navtec first. If it is not on there, tell them.

If it is, tell Garmin

Please Explain

If what is or is "not "on there"?

The roads are properly ID'ed on Navteq. That was the only time I noticed a "road" not ID'ed on the GPS. So if you meant I-80 not ID'ed on the GPS, I'll probably go that way again (It's only 8 miles from home), double-check then contact them.

Thanks

I sure hope they're easier to talk to than Magellan was.

avoidances?

Do you have avoid toll roads enabled? That would explain why it wouldn't take the OTP.

If it "showed" it, the unit knew about it, would you not think?

So what avoidance might have been set?
