V9 Update question for dis-similar units

Ok,
So my new nuvi 660 has NT V8. When V9 comes out, I plan on upgrading it. I know Garmin has a 2 device policy for their s/w. I also have a GPSMAP60Cs that currently has City Select North America V6 in it (I skipped an update or two).
Will I be able to update the 60Cs with the V9 (even though it's not called City Select anymore AND I don't have the latest version of City Select V7 installed)?

Thanks,
~Rob

Update

I spoke to Garmin today, in reference to accesories. After the conversation, I asked the lady when the new V9 Version would be out for my C530. I was told today, September or October. This was direct fromt he Garmin rep. I also asked if the $75.00 would cover both units I own for my business. She stated "No", each unit must pay for the upgrade. Unless this was inaccurate, I will have to pay 75 bucks for each. Just for info. DC

Thanks :)

Thanks for the info DC.
Figures. Oh well, I will update the nuvi.
Since the 60Cs will be only used off-road, I guess it doesn't need to have the latest roads on it smile
In fact, I have noticed that some of Garmin's prior "updates" actually removed fire roads and other backwoods roads we use from previous versions. New isn't always better. (Just don't tell my wife I said that, that is my excuse to her for buying all my upgraded "toys").

That is not correct information or it is very new. I was told and did install the version 7 on two devices. I had to call for the second but the tech not the sales rep told me that they allow two devices. They took down the serial and model number of the second device and this allowed the online code to work

V9 only good for one Device

tomstack - in previous releases, Garmin allowed you to install the maps on two devices, but I have heard that for version 9 they will only allow it on a single device. Maybe this will change by the time it is actually available, but I have seen this mentioned on a couple of websites now.

Update

Thats what I was told less than 24 hours ago. Garmin said the code will only work for a single unit. This was an acessories rep. said, but I heard it before and was attempting to verify it. DC
