Problem adding UK Traffic Master Subscription to a North American Nuvi 670

I have been trying for some time now, prior to a trip to England, to purchase the $60 UK lifetime FM Traffic subscription code for my North American Garmin Nuvi 670 which is accessed through > www.garmin.com/fmtraffic < but I keep running into a problem at a drop-down list at step 5 where I am supposed to select my unit type, but it isn't listed. Has anyone else met with this problem? Garmin's technical support said they didn't know what I should do, as that website is not actually controlled by them but by Traffic Master in the UK > http://www.trafficmaster.co.uk/ < They suggested I call Traffic Master in the UK at 1-44-8705561712 or e-mail them. I have done the latter and will report on my findings. The Nuvi 660 is in the drop-down list although, unlike the Nuvi 670 it doesn't come with the European and UK map coverage or a traffic receiver, (which can be added though, according to Garmin.)

There maybe someone at Pocketgpsworld in the UK that can help you with this one...

FM Traffic receivers

I just learned from Garmin Europe that the GMT-20 traffic receiver supplied with my North American Nuvi 670 will not work at all in the UK. Apparently it is specific to the system in North America only. For the UK the purchase of an expensive GMT-21 or a GMT-12 is required as well as the service cost.
This is what Garmin say in their sales literature >
"Go from North America to Europe without loading more maps with the transatlantic nüvi 670. This pocket sized Personal Travel Assistant comes with built-in street maps for both continents, making traveling abroad so easy. Similar to the 660, nüvi 670 also includes a colorful widescreen, hands-free calling, traffic alerts and FM transmitter." <
No mention of the incompatibility between North American traffic receivers and the European system. I feel I have been ripped off.
