Tried that, one too many times. Only Miss POI and JM have ever answered when i sent through their contact page.

Well, that's a pretty good indication that the maintainer is inactive and their files are orphaned.
As to how current the Ford file is, it has been 2 years since the last update. I think it unlikely that *not one* Ford dealership has opened, moved, or closed in that time. Whether or not any of those changes would have been reported (and the file updated, if the maintainer was around) is another question....
