Red light camera in Champaign IL?

I am a new driver who just got a permit to practice on road.
Recently I kinda run through a red light because I could not come to a full stop when the yellow light turned to red.
I am worried about being caught by the camera but I am not sure whether the camera installed on my area is a red light camera.

The camera on the light and does not look like any red camera posted on this website but there is a flash light. Terrified 
It was afternoon so the flash is unseen if there was one.
I am in Champaign,IL, the intersection was about Springfield and Neil St. I checked online for red light location and didn't see any in my area. But the camera just look like a red light camera because of the flash light.
Please help.

I think you're okay. If you're talking about the light above the traffic signals, it doesn't look like a red light camera system to me. The next time you go to that intersection, look for signs that say, "Red Light Camera Intersection." If there are no signs, then you don't have to worry.

I uploaded a schematic picture in the same folder just now to illustrate the system.
The system was seen almost everywhere in champaign but I haven't seen any sign saying "Red Light Camera" or something alike.
Yet I didn't find any information about red light camera policy of champaign online, which is weird, I cannot make any conclusion now

The device between the traffic control lights is a emergency vehicle traffic light control which detects a flashing strobe light from emergency vehicle to turn the traffic light green. The white light you see in the picture will light up brightly when an emergency vehicle is approaching and this notifies the emergency vehicle that the emergency traffic conrol lights have been activated. Here in Northern Illinois, Fire trucks and ambulances have this feature, police do not.

I'm with ScottK, it's not a red light camera. There are no cameras in Champaign. You are okay!

Did Champaign just abort the red light camera several years ago?

neil and springfield in Champaign, and other places in Champaign and Urbana. Is been use for traffic light control. they detect motion with the camera, which is use to turn the red and green lights and turn arrow on the traffic controls. At a lot of the
intersection they use to used a detection cable in the pavement. now they are useing the new camera systems
