Question on Chicagoland Speed & Redlight cameras

With the Upcoming additions to Chicagoland, I'm interested in how you folks get info on whereabouts of new locations....

I forwarded one to you on a Redlight in Skokie, and I'll bet you learn about them this way, but, with the large quantities of new systems about to be released.... Do they Publish the where-abouts, or ????

Just being nosy, since they will be in my immediate vicinity......

A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love... and a Nuvi 660 with Lifetime Maps that we have had literally forever.... And a 2011 Ford Escape with Nav System that is totally ignored!

Chicago?

Has speed cams too? I'm not all for them if it's like DC and there's a small window (like 5 mph), but they do make a lot of sense. It's 2012 and people are still running lights and hitting and running. Just last week yet again a transit vehicle blew a light turning red, so I leaned on my horn. The driver gave me a gesture. You bet his behavior changes if there's a red light cam. 80k salary and he behaves like that.

Anyhow, not sure about Chicago but the newspaper always seems to be interested in letting people know of new sites. Or, in DC's case, they post every active and potential site online.

The web site

The web site below has all the cameras in operation right now. Check your area and they should tell you when they were installed and what area (the direction) they are covering. Sure are a lot of them.
