I have a Garmin Nuvi 50.
I have loaded POI databases such as the wifi one and the B of A one. When I drive around, it will show me the icon of those respective POI's as I loaded those as well.
Suppose I was somewhere unfamiliar and I wanted to locate the "closest" B of A branch or Wifi spot and wanted directions to that place. How would I accomplish that?
Easy
Choose where to, extras, BOA (or whatever you called the BOA file) and it should list the 50 closest BOA locations. Then choose the one you want and press GO.
MrKenFL- "Money can't buy you happiness .. But it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery." NUVI 260, Nuvi 1490LMT & Nuvi 2595LMT all with 2014.4 maps !
The closest poi's will
always be the 50 closest to where you actually are.
If you drive say 100 miles away and then look at the file, it will bring up the closest to where you are now.
Nuvi 2460LMT.
good advice
thanks
