Software Update for 37xx Nuvi

Nuvi 37xx Version 4.80

Changes made from version 4.70 to 4.80:

Updated to comply with France Safety Camera decree.
Fixed a bug that caused the device to lose turn information while recalculating a route when near a junction.
Fixed a bug that caused the unit to freeze when receiving traffic information from a GTM36 cable.

‹ My Nuvi 350 battery isn't holding a charge. Can I replace it? How? Thanks! 1490t POI ›

edit - after doing a check, I have the 35 traffic receiver, not the 36. So, I won't bother with this update.

The 3790

The 3790 will never support MP3 and it already shows custom POI icons if they are saved as 256 color bitmaps and you are zoomed in far enough to see them on the map screen.

Since I have had the disappearing turn information problem a couple of times lately, I'm in on this update. Although I did save the GUPDate.gcd file from the last release just in case. laugh out loud

How can I find out which Traffic Receiver I have. I have a 3790lmt.

I did not have the disappearing turn information issue until after the most recent map update. I've only experienced this issue once. I'm glad the fix is already here.

I don't have traffic coverage in the local area and my cable is a 35. Guess the update won't help or hurt the traffic freeze-up issue for me.
