Which Home Depot state, next?

Based on the last week's visits, I'd vote for North Carolina or California. These states had the most visitors.

I'm currently working on the Home Depot and Lowes for New York State. I have all of the locations in the state, I just need to get the coordinates. Hopefully I will have it close to being ready to upload this weekend.

I'm not allowed to do Home Depot...sigh... we live literally about 1/2 mile from Lowe's headquarters and there are three things spoken of in Mooresville: Beer, Nascar and Lowes....

I'll be sure to keep the list separate just in case you ever make it out to NY and want to visit a Lowes..

LOL... grin... well, I do come your way often, about 4 or 5 times a year. I'm due another trip up north soon. However, it's usually to Manhattan or Long Island, I don't usually go upstate. Not sure I'll be searching for either when in The City... usually looking for a seeing eye dog to escort me back to the hotel at 3 a.m.....

Thanks Jeepin04 for offering to help, trust me this is one to help with due to Home Depots store finder. The Store finder is a nightmare to work with.

I agree, the Home Depot store finder was almost useless for covering the entire state with. I have come up with around 45 locations within NY. I'll focus on this one and download the Lowes one.

I would love to have Greater DFW and Greater Chicago

I will commit to all of Illinois before Dec. 14 and Texas before Dec. 21.

NY Home Depot's are completed. It looks like there are 65 all together including the HQ and Recruiting building here in New York. I would have never have guessed there would have been that many here. Better hide the HD credit card on my next trip around the state... especially now that I know where they all are.

I have also added all of the street addresses and phone numbers to the file. I'll try to post it later tonight.

California has over 160 Home Depot's, I lost count. I will have it up today PM.

yeh but scubadiving and skydiving with a gps is more fun.

I would absolutly love NC and SC. I sell to both retailers and travel to Home Depot a Lowes, that is the reason I picked up my Garmin 660 last week.

Anyone with POI for Home Depot in Texas?

I am new at all of this GPS stuff and am very interested in adding California Home Depots to my customized POI list.

Do you have that list or do you know where I could find it?

Also, I am a Landscape Contractor in Los Angeles and Orange County areas. Are there any other POI sites (free or paid) that you could recommend that would be helpful? The ones I have found don't seem to be very complete. I like the "one stop shop" if that exists.

I am new to all this but I need and would like to get the home depots poi for all states for I travel everywhere in the U.S. and if there is any thing I can do to help please let me know I can send in the address of the one I find. I sell and Service All the Home Depot, Lowes, Walmarts, K-marts, BJ's etc ... MD,NJ,PA,VT,ME,MA,NH, actully most of the east coast. I got a Garmin so I could travel and check on the stores and how my products are doing. I have access to all sorts of list and address information. But just starting on with the GPS. I may even be able to get some types of cordinates from my service staff. I will be looking into this more and more. I think this site is great and this information is going to make life much easier.

If there is anything I can do to be of service please feel free to contact me.

Perhaps as a Vendor I can get some other useful information.

I found a file on line for all Home Depots.
I dont know if its any good ....

I checked store address for some and it looked ok.

How do I pass it along ?
I will also try to add store Numbers to it (from my list of stores)

I am new to this site. I just got a totom go 720 2 days ago from dell. the only reason i need the gps is because im always on the street as a handyman. i need to have home depot from at the following states NY, NJ, PA, CT & FL.

If you or anybody can tell me how to get it, I would really appreciate it. If I do not have this Home Depot POI, I am going to return my GPS.

I called Tomtom, they told me to go to poihandler, poipocket or gps world. those sites did not have a complete list, not even for NY. BTW, I live in NJ.

I'm not sure who maintains the Home Depot file, but there's a problem with the geocoordinates for the Norwood MA store.

Here is the correct data:

The currect geocoordinates in the file place the store in RI.

is there a way to get the home depot locations for only NJ?

You can use Extra POI Editor to select only NJ.

BUT, the question is why would you want to do that. The entire file will not take up much space on your unit, so extracting NJ locations and then having to repeat those extra steps when the POI file itself is updated does not seem to make sense.

If you really that concerned about the amount of space on your unit, perhaps we need to discuss how to eliminate files (like languages) that you will never use.

Guys, there's a entry in the Home Depot file that's seriously off. It's store #2607 in Marlborough MA.

The correct location is: 42.350156,-71.50353

The location in the (HD USA) file is given as: 42.335526,-71.603783
