I never understood having to hit F5 to refresh a page I hadn't been to before. Oh well... there are lots of things I don't understand.

But, I got in on Monday instead of Tuesday this week.

Is one reason you may have to reload. It stores pages, pics etc. I use the minimum cache size allowable to avoid it in FF.

Everyone should go to the mall now before it gets crazy.

all are finding the presents on their kid's list.

Had jury duty today.

With the Christmas season brings increased traffic. So drive safely and defensely so every can have a truly Merry Christmas.

First really measurable snow in Chicago a few days ago. Weather is finally turning into winter and is cold. Now I ask myself this each winter, but what the heck am I doing here and not living in Southern California.

The web site has a language filter that sometimes flags posts for review. I put most of them through, but it does a good job of catching porn site spam and keeping it out of the forums.

Lately, the non-spam posts it catches are mostly in the joke thread.

It counts for the new week.

The automated routine for active user status only looks at the time a forum post was made. (It doesn't matter what thread it's posted to.)

I'm busy today updating my Batteries Plus POI file for The Factory. Alphabetically, I'm only up to FL and there are already 11 new stores. Guess I shouldn't have waited so long between updates. Hope I can get it done today.

Plants covered for quite a while, don't want them things to freeze. Suppose to frost again tonight. Covers still in place. I kind of like the colder weather, but lots don't.

Another senior citizen told me about this place & it looks like an interesting site. My bride & I use a gps to hunt "caches" when we travel but will use this site for all the great info it provides. Thanks for being here.

Bought a snowblower from Amazon which can only mean that we will have little to no snow in NYC this winter.
