I uploaded the custom POI for Michaels Arts and Crafts. There was no bmp image for. I said "Let me try to make my own". So I googled images and found one of the Michaels sign. Opened with infaview. Made it about 22x24. Then loaded it in to the North America file and named it same as the POI.
Yup, thats all it takes.

I believe you used Irfanview (misspelled), but there are others that will do it also.

I loaded it into the same file I would load a BMP file from here. In the North America list with all my custom POI's.
ps you are right it is irfanview. I was late when I wrote that.

Still wondering

I am still thrown by the "North America List" and the use of the word "file". I assume you must be talking about the "folder" on your computer to which you point POILoader. Is this right?
Sorry

That is correct. Sorry for the confusion. I am not computer savvy and my words didn't come out the way I intended.
