Basecamp route times

The more I use Basecamp the less I like it. When I look at the details for a route it tells me the dist. & time for each leg. Is there a way to configure BC to show a running total? Mapsource shows leg time and total time. What I'm really after is the time to intermediate waypoints.

And the answer is ...

From Garmin:

"We are re-working the route properties for BaseCamp 3.3.

3.3 will display what MapSource was displaying (and more)."

Great

This will be nice.

Total distance

I have a route created in Base Camp with a single waypoint. Right clicking on the route and selecting properties opens a window showing the total distance and the length of each segment.

I Would Love to Have That Too

That would be a great feature. Streets and Trips gives you that type of info. It allows you to enter a start time for the trip and also allows you to enter a value for rest periods, such as 15 minutes every 2 hours.

That gives you a reasonable approximation of your time of arrival to each point. Very handy hwen you want to plan places to stop overnight, etc.

Now we just have to wait for all the "Great" changes that Garmin said will be in 3.3

Basecamp Route Times

My copy of Basecamp does that. Control/click on two or more waypoints. Then go to file/new/route using waypoints. It will put an icon on the map. Click the icon and it shows total time and distance as the first entry.

Good to Know

That's good to know, but it would be nice top have this on the directions list. I print these out as a way of giving my wife a way of knowing waht and where we are now and are about to be.

Yeah, mine does that, too, but ...

The total total time for a trip is good but, if I have intermediate WPs, the total time to those intermediate WPs is also useful. I think that's part of what they plan to add in 3.3.
