Language Guide

...if other programs exist that will run on the nuvi. I'd be skeptical - there's probably not enough people using it yet to make it worthwhile for someone to manufacture such a technology. BUT, you can always buy an independent translator gadget. They have become absurdly powerful (I've seen some with 8 languages built in to it). I'd think they have more power than Garmin's version, in terms of a bigger vocabulary of words and phrases, and probably easier access thru a better keyboard. Whether you want to drag around an extra gadget in your travels is a different matter.

To my knowledge there is no other Language Guide that is available. I purchased the Language Guide for my Nuvi and I think it works well. I would be skeptical of using a third party accessory with my Nuvi anyway.
