Thanks

Thanks for the information. A definite need to know.

It's Always Something...

Some folks will do whatever to steal from someone.

Pretty sad state of affairs.

OK.....so where the heck am I?

Due Process has its advantages

I guess being handed a real ticket by an officer has it's advantages.

I haven't heard a word about what the RLC companies are doing to to keep the public safe from this.

That's pretty messed up.

That's pretty messed up.

More and more scams everyday....

Thanks for sharing the information.

The best way to protect yourself: DON'T share any information over the phone, especially birthday, social, ID number.

I also hear somebody call your cellphone leave a message for you to call back, when you call them back on the number they gave you will be charge hundreds dollar for the collect call from some Nigeria countries or services. Be ware!!

Traffic light camera scam steals your identity

If someone calls you with that scam, just ask if they would mind if you conferenced in your local police station to ask the duty officer to confirm the outstanding ticket.

Very Interesting..!!

Crooks must stay awake all night long thinking up these scams! rolleyes

Don't worry

Don't worry if you fall for this scam you probably don't have any money left in the bank after falling for the Nigerian scam.

Not so! Just today I received an email that there is a large sum of money waiting for me to collect it. All I have to do is . . .

thanks

thanks

so

It's just new version of old scam. Sometimes I just wonder how people are falling for this. In old days they were buying Brooklyn Bridge or Statue of Liberty. Today they give someone all info about credit cards or bank accounts just because someone told them to do so. I guess, some people will never learn.

I think it's simply that

I think it's simply that instead of real jobs, they spend all day thinking of it. While we're hard at work earning money, they're hard at thinking about getting it from us.

Are you referring to our government?

Another day, another scam

Either a private individual steals from you with their fake RLC or the government steals from you with their real RLC.

End result = poorer you.

A simple common sense, just ignore the call.

I have never received any call from any government agency unless I initiated the call to a particular individual and ask for a return call.

They can not deliver any legal documents over the phone because of the legality of the delivery method. All legal documents including warrants, judgements, and others must be delivered in person or through post office system.

Suckers and idiots

There's one born every minute. People who fall for stuff like this boggle the mind.

scams everywhere

my mom just got scammed by simplefiles.com she applied for a new social security card, they said it cost $38, she filled out the form and sent it in. when she told me about it i looked it up. they charged the money to make it easier to fill out the form they say, but it is the exact same form as found at the SS website for free

Heck, happens all the time

How do you think zero got elected

Sad

and credit card companies don't really care either since indirectly we all pay for their losses

Wow.

Yet another way the bad guys are after our $'s.

Thanks for the update
