Custom POI Order

I have installed several different POI files on my 1490LMT. Each time, I give the file a unique name to keep my POIs separated. The all show up in the \Poi directory and each file has a .gpi extension. The files (or folders) will appear individually on the Garmin in the Extras...Custom POIs. My question is if there is a way to arrange these files to appear in a specific order. At present, they are arranged in the order in which they were loaded. I tried to change the "Modified Date" and "Created Date" but that does not change the order on the Garmin.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
My method
Empty the J:\poi folder on your 1490. Then using POI Loader, load them in the order you wish them to appear.

I think the trick is to make folders that start with special characters like "--". This makes them sort to the top.
Once you get used to having a high level folder and a number of lower level folders, you can do a major reload every now and then to get the categories into the order you want.
I Name
I name them, for example:
A - Fuel
B - Hotels
C - Restaurants
etc.
This results in the them being listed in that order.
Basically I run POIloader for just the POI's I have for Fuel stops. This creates a poi.gpi file. I then rename it to A - Fuel. I repeat the process for each category I want to use.
Nuvi 350, 760, 1695LM, 3790LMT, 2460LMT, 3597LMTHD, DriveLuxe 50LMTHD, DriveSmart 61, Garmin Drive 52, Garmin Backup Camera 40 and TomTom XXL540s.

Most of the time
If you store the GPXs on a removable medium they load in reverse order. (at least they did for me several times)
