2010.20 won't load on StreetPilot C530

Tried latest update (I have lifetime updates)and it wouldn't let me install on my c530...not enough room. Every smaller option or zone came up with the same message. I am using windows 7 64 bit.
In the past I loaded one of the smaller zones onto my c530, and then the rest of the map onto my SD card.

I will call Garmin on Monday. This is not acceptable.

Similar problem in the past.

I recall having a similar problem and was only able to continue after deleting the old map first. Of course make sure you have the old one backed up first.

Why is it "not acceptable". You will need to load them to the SD card.

There was never any guarantee that I recall seeing that the maps would always fit on the unit.

Garmin 2820

I'm able to load 2012.20 on my StreetPilot 2820 which have only 2GB built in memory. The only thing is I have to to download from scratch. If I load it from download saved with other unit like Nuvi 3790 it won't work because there is not enough memory. Another bug in Garmin update system.

Problem solved

Thanks mmullin98. It seems that the latest updater did not remove my previous map versions. Removed mannually and I am able to get the maps on my c530.
