.

With the exception of the extension name (.bmp, .wav, .gpx), all of the names have to be the same to the letter. And, in the same folder as the POI.

your 1450

Your 1450 only plays WAV sounds, and then only if you have SOX.EXE in the correct program files folder.

The most common problems are double extensions, and for the newer units not having SOX and WAV files.

There are several FAQs on here detailing exactly how to install SOX and check for double extensions. You also need to know if you have enabled proximity alerts on your unit, that's under tools and settings from the main screen.

The newest POILoader (2.6.1) is in a different program files folder than the older (2.4.x) version. If you upgraded to the newer POILoader, you need to move SOX.

Until we know more of what problems you are having, we can't be much more specific as to the steps you need to complete. Check these steps out and then tell us exactly what is happening and how you are doing the load.
