Yards or meters
I wonder how you managed to get UTM coordinates in yards? They are usually in meters, and in a particular format. For example:
Zone 42 eeeeee nnnnnnn North (or South) Hemisphere
Where eeeeee is the Easting and nnnnnnn is the Northing in meters. Here is the converter I use:
http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/utm_getgp.prl
But first you will have to convert from yards to meters.
If your UTM coordinates and the map that you will use the longitude/latitude with is based WGS 84 you can select NAD 83 in the converter.
