Truck Stop POI will not load

POI loader refuses to recognize the latest combined Truck/Rv stops file.
It downloads on my mac as a ".gpx.xml" file, which Safari & OS 10.6 recognize as a PC executable file. The only program that will recognize it is TextWrangler.
I tried removing the ".xml" but that didn't work either. The latest Mac POI Loader, which I just also downloaded, says the file is not a valid POI. So,
what do I do? Does anyone have it as a .csv file? Or, is there a converter somewhere?
PS
Got to run to a Dr Appointment - thats waht us older folks do!
Will check back later. Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Not familiar with Mac, but

The file is in gpx format. You can use EPE (extra poi editor) to convert to a csv file.

What model GPS are you using? Because the gpx format has more info in it than the csv file would.
Nuvi 2460LMT.
EPE doesn't support Mac yet.

If you are using the Safari browser, it has a problem downloading GPX files.
If removing the .XML didn't work (make sure that you keep the .GPX), then try using Firefox to download the files.
Thanks Much - I'll try

IT WORKED!!!
Thanks again - just downloaded two .gpx files with Firefox 4 and both loaded to the Garmin with no problem.
Guess I'll start using Firefox more.
