Google Map Maker

Check this out:

We can now contribute to make changes to Google maps in the US. I'm not sure how Google is going to review/verify the changes. There could be millions of changes in a day. The plus side is they're using map users time and effort for free smile

Quick Look

I took a quick look at it today. Real quick. May just be me but it seems to have not a steep learning curve but a time consuming one. I'll try again when I have more time.

A thought, would be nice if you could map your address book but keep it private, only allow those you want to view it.

Learning From TomTom...

...only better. Google's map maker is easier (IMHO) than TT's map correction feature.

Yeah I've used it to submit

Yeah I've used it to submit construction changes. I might see if I can map out the new development near me, but it might be hard since it's not on their satellite map yet either.
