Nice Weather

We are now in our SKP Park Sierra Co-Op site for the next three months. It is beautiful here at the 1800 foot level on the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, just 25 miles south of Yosemite National Park.

You need to go to the main discussion page and select the applicable forum such as Garmin talk, TomTom talk etc.

After a week on the beach

at Mazatlan, I completely forgot what day it was. Only missed this posting by one day.

There were no kidnappings, no beheadings, no violence of any kind to me or those around me while I was in Mexico. Contrary to all the media reports I did not feel unsafe at any time during my one week visit.

The town is hurting economically by the absence of the cruise ships docking there. This was my sixth visit to Mazatlan and there are many noticeable closures and a complete absence of tourists in the Golden Zone. Even did the Pacifico beer factory tour this time.

The rain waited until we left FL. We did pass through a good rain on I-95 last Thursday near Daytona Beach.

Been busy this week

This week has been extremely busy due to me planning a cruise for my family next spring. I'll be retiring in a couple of months and that will be my retirement present to them. (It should be the other way around come to think of it. Oh, well!)
