Way Late this week

Oh well, have a good weekend

Everyone thought Spring had arrived...

...in Cincinnati until they woke up this morning. Temps in the low 40's and dropping. I observed snow flurries at 10:30 this morning. Spring in SW Ohio? Not until the 3rd week of April. Then we may be able to say Spring is here.

Spring?

Well, we're having more winter like rain/wind than spring sun shine.

Already had over 500 inches of snow for the season at Heavenly and it's still coming down. We do need the water, but, I think the bucket is full. Talk of local flooding. Hopefully no one will lose any of their property.

Every one have a great first few days of Spring, and please take care of each other.

Texas Hill Country

We've been putting the Garmin through it's paces the past week in the Texas Hill Country.....Not very happy with the results!! Very tired of seeing the Not Found message when I enter locations.....maybe it's just a problem with the latest map update!!!

Locations?

What, POI's or addresses?

Friday

First spring week-end, but we're still below freezing point. At least the sun will be out to exorcise the winter blues.

Finally it's time for the MLB 2011 campaign to begin. Good luck to all MLB teams, especially my 2010 World Series Champion S.F. Giants, hoping they can do it again...

How you doing with the ear problem?

--
johnm405 660 & MSS&T

Eyes & Ears

The inner ear problem is slowly getting better, but not totally gone.

I decided against getting monovision lenses. I've heard of too many people complain that their brain just couldn't adjust to one eye seeing distance and the other seeing close up. It also causes headaches in some people because of this. Unfortunately, you don't know if you'll be able to adjust to it until you get it done. Kind of a catch-22.

Efficiency Research

Hi everyone,

I was trying to think of a way of contributing. Here's a shot; I hope it doesn't come across as spammy because I honestly think this info will be helpful to someone!
I have been researching efficient house building methods, along with all kinds of housing technology lately. I've covered furnaces, boilers, mold-combatting building techniques, insulation, etc.

If the subject interests you, check out my social bookmarks at Diigo:

Enjoy!
